Responsibilities:
- Provide details used for fabrication and installation of audio, video, control, and security systems.
- Assist Sales in creating sales proposals when requested. Ability to design and engineer complete system(s).
- Assist Installation staff with troubleshooting of system problems in the field during installation.
- Program and test control systems, computer controlled digital signal processors, routers or mixers, security panels, card access systems, and digital video recorders.
- Follow projects through to final adjustment and commissioning of installed systems.
- Create equipment lists, floor plans, and rack and console elevations.
- Understand and utilize company-drafting procedures.
- Create test plans and test systems. Test systems in the shop before they are delivered to the job site.
- Coordinate with appropriate departments to assure proper scheduling & integration of designed systems.
- Must be able to provide economically feasible audio/visual, sound, RF, conferencing and network systems design, and propose products for suitability and reliability for use on projects.
Technical Experience & Qualifications:
- The Project Engineer shall possess a two-year electronics degree from an accredited college or university.
- A minimum of 3 years working experience in a broadcast or A/V engineering capacity is required. Possess a working knowledge of low voltage communications systems.
- Must demonstrate computer literacy, i.e. MS Word, Outlook, and Excel or equivalent.
- Must have working Auto Cad LT experience.
- Must have experience with reviewing bid documents for purposes of evaluating and preparing comprehensive bill of materials and scope of work descriptions.
- Infocomm CTS certification a plus.

- Must possess the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and adjust to shifting priorities.
- Must possess a strong sense of urgency.
- Must be responsible, self-motivated, self-starter, personable and well-organized.
- Must be open to local and out of state travel to client sites as needed.
- Demonstrated willingness to learn, teach, and share knowledge.
