Pentegra Systems LLC acquires data, networking and voice over IP expertise.
Elmhurst based Pentegra Systems LLC has purchased selected assets and hired the personnel of Farnsworth Computer Services bringing to Pentegra expertise in data, networking, and voice over IP phone systems.
Edward Karl, Chief Executive Officer of Pentegra Systems explains "The combination of these companies positions Pentegra Systems uniquely in the Chicagoland marketplace. We are now a single source provider, bringing together state of the art
audio, video, data networking, security and telecom systems to our customers."
Pentegra Systems previously combined two well established market leaders, Wizdum Audio and Integrated Media Systems. Wizdum Audio, founded in 1982, has specialized in designing, installing, and servicing professional audio and video systems for over 20 years. Wizdum has provided high quality sound and video systems in thousands of schools, businesses, municipal facilities, and houses of worship throughout the Chicagoland area. Integrated Media Systems (IMS) has offered cost effective innovative video, security camera (CCTV), card access, media retrieval, and networked multimedia systems. IMS has designed large scale "video on demand" networked multimedia systems as well as board room and classroom A/V control systems.
Pentegra Systems now adds data networking expertise including engineers certified in Novell, Microsoft and 3Com. Certified data and fiber optic installation technicians are also part of Pentegra Systems added expertise. Pentegra Systems is now the premier Chicagoland 3Com Gold Partner providing a Voice over IP phone solution to its customers.
